Algonquin Park: North to South From Kiosk to Kennaway (9 days / 174 km)

Trip Report - Algonquin - Kiosk to Kennaway

Up early and after a 5-hour drive, my dad dropped me off at Kiosk Lake at the north end of Algonquin Park, Access Point #29. This route is aggressive, with a total of 174 km over 9 days of travel and 43 km of single carry portage and took me from the north border to the southern tip of the park at Access 15a Pine Grove Point, cutting right through the heart of Algonquin Park. This trip started with me looking over my maps and wondering if it would be possible to paddle north to south across the park. Without thinking about the challenges, I started tracing out a route. After many attempts, I finally settled on the route that I was going to attempt.
