I’m Mikaela! I’m from Ontario but I’ve been living in BC for a while. I love canoeing (specifically whitewater canoeing) though I’m beginning to love backpacking. I also like blogging about the outdoors and can be found on instagram at voyageurtripper.

Hey everyone! I’m Diane, from a small town outside of London, Ontario. I love canoe tripping and camping! My husband and I have mostly tripped in Algonquin and we have started to venture into Temagami! We have also done a ton of car camping, but once we started doing more backcountry trips there was no going back! I love nature and being outside…that feeling of being on the water or in the woods with no other humans around is unlike anything else…and I crave it daily!! Although canoe tripping is my #1 favourite, I have done 1 short backpacking trip in Pukaskwa NP and would love to try more! Looking forward to connecting with you all! Thanks Mikaela!

Hi I’m CJ. I live in Toronto, Ontario but love to plan outdoor travel adventures and get out hiking regularly. I predominantly backpack (as light as I can reasonably get), though also day hike, hunt, and canoe. My spouse is my travel companion and together we’ve hiked the Bruce Peninsula (Ontario), East Coast Trail (Newfoundland), Dodson Trail (Texas), Wind River (Wyoming), and day hiked Ontario, California, and Utah.
We’ve recently expanded our family and so are learning how to adventure at someone else’s pace while carrying all of their essentials. We’ve just taken our three month old on an Algonquin canoe trip and are looking ahead to some more Ontario-based trips in the coming months.
